Who am I?
I am a Game Designer based in central England. My latest role was a Senior Game Designer (and part time Producer) at Rezzil where I worked on drills and missions for VR sports games. Previous to this I worked for Cloud Imperium Games as Level Designer on Squadron 42, a single-player FPS space sim, before moving on to Star Citizen as a Mission Designer. Take a look at the "Projects" tab for more details on each role.

Outside of my career in the games industry I also have a massive passion for independent game development. I regularly attend meet-ups and game jams in and around the Manchester area and I am currently developing my own games under WEIRD WOODS. I have also released smaller projects and game jams over on itch.io.
Outside of game development I love the outdoors, camping, shooting sports and training/competing in Jiu-Jitsu.

Rezzil

2019 - Present
My role at Rezzil was quite versatile, my responsibilities covered designing systems and player mechanics for VR games. In addition to this, I also produced a team of approximately ten developers managing their tasks in Jira and ensuring deadlines and milestones were reached.

As a mission designer, my responsibilities would start at the missions’ inception, involving tasks such as crafting design documents and prototypes. These responsibilities would then extend throughout the development process, encompassing the creation of multiplayer missions for Star Citizen . I was also actively scripting the mission logic, designing and creating level spaces in the games’ engine.
